It’s with deep sadness we announce the passing of our Mom, Elizabeth Jane Howe. Mom left us peacefully on the evening of September 14, 2023. Cherished and loved by family, friends and all who knew her.
Born on July 08, 1934 in Brockville to mother Irene Lester of England and Clarence McNamara of Canada. Predeceased by husband Ralph Mervin Bowen in 1967 and husband Roy Blake Howe in 2003. Loving mother to 3 sons, Michael William Bowen of Brockville, Kerry Shawn Bowen (Dianne) of Brockville and Steven Blake Howe (Rachael) of Prescott. Survived by sisters Sandra Lake (Allan) and Patricia Renaud (Garry, predeceased). Mom will be missed by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, close friends and extended family from near and far.
Mom’s wishes were for her to be cremated and have no visitation, funeral or celebration of life, instead, she wanted her cremated remains given to Michael, Kerry and Steven so that they could each have their own private moments to remember Mom.
In keeping with Elizabeth’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St. E., Brockville.
