Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of James “Jim” Carl Rogerson, which occurred at Carleton Kirk Nursing Home on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023. Born 1956, in Saint John, he is the son of the late Ralph and Catherine (Kennedy) Rogerson. Jim worked in construction throughout his lifetime, building houses and specializing in siding. He was a member of Legion #58 and a shuffleboard champion. Jim was a kind and caring person with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time at the Barnwood Pub and visiting PEI. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Lynn (Handrahan) Rogerson of Saint John; son Troy Rogerson (Krystle) of Saint John; daughter Katelyn Rogerson (Dan) of Saint John; brothers Butch Rogerson (Bonnie) of Quispamsis, Ricky Rogerson (Sandy) of Hampton, Kevin Rogerson (Donna) of Damascus; sisters Linda Burke of Quispamsis, Mary Ann Cadger (Donnie) of Quispamsis; grandchildren Lakrisha, Jordyn, Treyson and Avery; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Along with his parents, Jim was predeceased by his brother-in-law Kevin Burke.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) with visitation being held on Friday, September 22nd from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place in the Fundy chapel on Saturday, September 23rd at 10 a.m. Interment will be held at Ocean View Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Jim may be made to the Alzheimer’s/Dementia Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
