Bert Charles Taylor, who’s radiant spirit touched the lives of all who knew him, passed away suddenly on September 14, 2023 at the age of 60. Bert was born in Toronto October 16, 1962 and moved to Cambridge to pursue his career with Sherwin Williams as a store manager for 25 plus years.
Bert will be fondly remembered for his zest for life, his passion for sports, and his adventurous spirit. His enthusiasm for tennis, NASCAR, football and hockey was truly infectious. His heart belonged to the New York Islanders and the Pittsburgh Steelers. His passion for these teams was nothing short of legendary with many unforgettable games enjoyed with his family and friends.
His adventures took him to the sandy beaches of Mexico, and he enjoyed countless road trips and scenic drives in his Corvette. He leaves behind a legacy of joy and memories that will forever be etched in our hearts.
Bert’s life was enriched by his deep friendships with his closest friends Scott, Chris, and Flavio who we can not thank enough for always being there for Bert.
We celebrate Bert’s life and may he rest in peace, knowing that he will always be missed and forever remembered by his family Rob (Joanne, Brent, Cole), Audrey (Hans, Johanna, Caroline, Eric), Darlene (Tracy, Billy, Erin). Bert was predeceased by his mother Adeline and father Keith.
As per Bert’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family celebration will take place at a future time. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, made to your local humane society as Bert loved dogs very much.
