It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Eli Brushett of Long Cove, Burin at the age of 70 years on September 15th, 2023. Eli passed peacefully surrounded by his wife and loving family by his side.
A loving husband, father and poppy, tender and kind. Eli’s pride was his toys, his Harley, the antique car and his passion for music which he shared with his family and friends. Your beautiful voice, the strum of your guitar and your strong will to fight through anything will follow with us forever. Your love leaves a memory that lives in our hearts.
This is not a good-bye dad, we will see you there.
Leaving to mourn with life time of loving and precious memories his wife Grace; son Jason (Lori) of Holyrood, NL; daughters Sandra (Bill) of Winterland, NL, Angela (Karl) of Portugal Cove, NL, Sheri (Chris) of Portugal Cove, NL; grandchildren Noah, Aaron, Jaime -Belle, Kyle, Gracie, Laurel; siblings George, Eileen (Jack Thornhill), Ren (Mary), Frankie (Steve O’Brien), Pad (Debbie), Carl (Rosalind), John, Josh (Elaine), Maggie (John O’Mara) plus a large circle of nephews, nieces and other family and friends.
Predeceased by siblings Bill Tom, Junior, Angus, Patricia Moore.
We well be having a celebration of life held at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin, Saturday, September 16th from 10AM-9PM please stop by and share a memory with us of Eli.
In keeping with Eli’s wishes cremation will follow after visitation.
