1966-2023
The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing on Friday, September 1st, 2023 at the age of 57 years. Beloved husband of Lynn Blais (nee Poulin). Loving father of Christopher, Nicholas (Josée “Jo-Jo”) and Brandon. Cherished grandfather of Charlotte, Brooke and Ashton. Dear son of Romeo and late Suzanne Blais. He will be sadly missed by his best friend Frank Rubino, Dave Payne and numerous good friends. Also left to mourn are the Poulin, Bechard and Blais family, as well as his loyal friend, his dog Gibson. The family would also like to thank the OPP, search and rescue, friends and the community for their involvement of the search. Also, a special thanks to Vanessa Landers for coordinating a large search group. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday October 14th, 2023 from 12 pm – 4 pm at the Schumacher Lions Club. Remembrance donations to Timmins and District Hospital Foundation – Mental Health Unit would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
