Brubacher, Velina B.
Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus at the age of 81.
Beloved wife of the late Alvin Brubacher (2010).
Loving mother of Gloria and Grant Martin, James and Lorraine Brubacher, Grace Brubacher, Raymond and MaryAnn Brubacher, Elaine and Leslie Gerber, Robert and Dorothy Brubacher, Lucille and Irvin Bearinger, Lloyd and Eunice Brubacher, David Brubacher, Wayne and Darlene Brubacher.
Fondly remembered by her 35 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Sister of Joseph and Elsie Bowman, and sister-in-law of Esther and Edwin Horst, Phyanna and Ralph Reibel, Selina and Howard Gingrich, Cleason and Ina Brubacher, and Marion Brubacher.
Predeceased by her parents David and Susanna Bowman, granddaughter Marita (2005), sister Salome Bowman, and brother-in-law Melvin Brubacher.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 5-8 p.m. and on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 1:30-3:30 and 5-8 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A family service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 9 a.m. then to North Woolwich Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
