Obituary
Marvin Stanley Katzman, aged 81, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2023, at Soldier’s Memorial Hospital in Orillia. He was the cherished husband of Lillian “Lilly” for 57 beautiful years. Marvin was a loving father to Stacey Katzman (Blaine Schmidt), Jody Katzman (Christienne Bright), and Shawn (Jane) Katzman. He will be forever missed as the beloved grandpa of Jake, Codi, Ryan, Brooke, Katy, Sarah & Devin.
Marvin’s engaging sense of humor and warm personality endeared him to many, making him a treasured friend. He found joy in gardening, cooking, dancing and hosting dinner gatherings. His adventurous spirit led him to enjoy riding his Harley Davidson, Boats, Snowmobiles and spending quality time at the cottage and in Florida.
Marvin’s boundless love for his family, friends, and his special companion Buddee will always be remembered. He was a brother to Janice Niblock.
A private family graveside service was held at Fairview Cemetery in Acton to honor Marvin’s memory. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Marvin’s legacy of love, laughter, and cherished moments will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
