Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, August 17, 2023, Gary Maxwell Camp aged 72 years.
Predeceased by his parents, George Maxwell & Jean (nee Hillyard) Camp, son, Gerry and sister, Cathy.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories spouse, Kaye Morgan, children, Chris (Vicki) and Tammy, stepchildren, Chris Morgan (Aimee)
Ashley Morgan (Mitchell), siblings, Sheldon (Jill), and Ron (Heather) , grandchildren, Grayson, Halle , Cooper, Megan, Lucas, Olivia, Madison, Cohen and Alexis , nieces and nephews, Kim, Hilary, Matthew and Brett, dog, Lady also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Gary spent 35 years of his life at sea as a Marine Diesel Mechanic which was a life he loved more than anything. He was a renowned mechanic not only at sea, but in his backyards garage fixing tractor trailers and heavy equipment. In his spare time , he drove a truck which brought him to many places and earned him the nickname “Blackie”. Through all his endeavors, he acquires many friends, all of which he could count on in times of trouble.
Cremation has taken place.
As per Gary’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.
