Moncton, N.-B – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lauriel Richard, 95, that occurred on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023, at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home in Moncton.
Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late Alban Gallant and the late Elizabeth (Bourque) Gallant.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Pierre (Kim) Richard of Kentville; her daughter, Bernette Leblanc of Moncton; her five grandchildren: Caroline (Spencer), Scott, Michel, Lucy, and Alex; her two great grandchildren: Charlotte and Félix; her sister, Carol (Hugh) Carroll of Ottawa as well several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard “Bernie”, her four children: Michel, Nicole, Pierre, and Gerard; her three brothers: Raymond (Beverly), Alban (Janet), Léonce (Joan); and by her sister, Kathryn (Hank).
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Cooperative (625 Mountain Road, Moncton, NB (506) 855-1145) on Monday, August 21, from 2 to 4 pm only. Funeral service will follow at the same location at 4 pm.
