LALONDE, RUTH (Knight)
It’s with deep sadness that our beloved Ruth Lalonde (nee Knight) lost her battle to cancer on Friday August 11, 2023 at the age of 82 in Winchester Hospital.
Cherished mother of Richard (Cynthia) and Patrick (Jessica), her four grandchildren: Courtney, Craig, Sara and Emma. Ruth was blessed to see the arrival of her 2 great grandchildren Easton and Brynlee.
Ruth was predeceased by husband Jack Lalonde. Born in Brantford, Ontario the two of them led an eventful life living in Kentucky, California, Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, Indiana and Florida. After the passing of her husband Jack, she wanted to move back to Canada to be close to family and enjoy her grand and great grandchildren. While living in Russell she made many wonderful new friendships.
We would like to thank the Winchester District Memorial Hospital for the amazing, compassionate care Ruth received during treatments and her hospital stays.
