Mary P. Hind (nee Huxley) passed away peacefully at Village on the Ridge Long Term Care on Saturday, August 12, 2023 in her 102nd year. Born on the family farm in Dover Township on August 3, 1922, to her parents, the late Norman Huxley and Matilda (Tillie) Huxley (nee Denomy). Wife of the late Robert B. (Bob) Hind (1981). Mother of Jerry Hind (Linda) and grandmother of Sara Hind and Joshua Hind (Sharlanne McStay-Hind). Mary will be missed by her great-grandchildren Henry McStay-Hind and Piper McStay-Hind. Predeceased by her siblings, Doris Spurgeon (1982), Norman Huxley (2004), and Maxine Morrow (2005). Mary spent many happy years in the company of Gordon Brand (2008). Mary enjoyed making new friends, socializing, dancing and travelling. Mary’s family will be remembering her privately.
