December 4th, 1953 – August 10th, 2023
Surrounded by her loving family, Janet crossed the Rainbow Bridge on August 10th, 2023, to the excitement of her many waiting fur babies who are smothering her with love and kisses and doing zoomies. Janet was a proud mother of Jaimie (Ian) and Jeff (Catherine), Nana to Greyson and Asher and beautiful wife and life partner to Jim. Gilligan (Gilly-goo) is missing his nightly treats and pats.
Janet was a dedicated educator and mentor to her many students. She travelled extensively and enjoyed a cold drink with friends on the dock, but her world was her kids and grandkids.
She greeted everyone with kind words and a smile. And oh, what a beautiful smile. She could light up the room with her smile and illuminate the world with her heart.
We want to thank the nurses, doctors, and staff of the Kemptville District Hospital for their extraordinary care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations to the KDH Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
A celebration of life is being held on Thursday, August 17th from 1pm to 3pm at Hulse, Playfair & McGarry – Kemptville Chapel – 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville.
