On July 26, 2023, Mr. Ryan “Chief” Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 42 years. He is survived by his sons, Reil & Riley Harrison; mother, Joanne Cardinal; siblings, Tony, Amy & Karla (James); numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews & street friends. Ryan was predeceased by his dad, Alexander E. Brertton; grandparents, Irvin & Evangeline Brertton; grandmother, Mary Louise Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Monday, August 7 (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:30 p.m.) & Tuesday, August 8 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
