It is with great sadness that the family of Tony Crewe announce his passing on Monday, July 31, 2023 at the age of 67 years at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook.
Tony is predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (Liz); parents Donald and Dorothy; brothers Gerald, James, Melvin and Roy; and father-in-law Hayward Petten.
He leaves to mourn, with fond and loving memories, his daughter Nikki; brothers Ray (Eileen) and Ralph (Jane); sisters Marg Joy, Judy Veitch (Kevin), Patsy Hollett (Derek) and Peggy Welsh (Lloyd McCarthy); mother-in-law Joan Petten; brothers-in-law Greg Morgan (Roxanne) and Reverend Jeff Petten; as well as a large circle of family and friends. The family extends special thanks to his friend, Ruth Winsor, for her caring and support during the past year.
An avid outdoorsman, Tony was passionate about salmon fishing, snowmobile and ATV riding and, most of all, riding his Harley with friends. Tony enjoyed a game of cards and spending time with his family but was most devoted to his daughter, Nikki, whom he affectionately called Trout.
Committal service will take place on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Humber Valley United Church Cemetery, Church Street, Pasadena. Family and friends are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
