Diana Legere, 89, of Villa Providence, Shediac, NB, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 27th, 2023, at her residence.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and the late Laura (Gallant) Poirier.
Diana loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. She’s loved to bake, cook, and enjoyed her flowers in her garden. Gerry was the love of her life and they spent over 30 years in Waltham, MA raising their children until they moved back to Grande-Digue in 1995 to enjoy their retirement.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gerard Legere (2018); by her son, Charles (2023); by her sister, Marguerite and by her brothers: Jean-Paul and Camille.
She will be forever loved and sadly missed by her son, Normand (Bonnie) of Otisfield, Maine; by her daughter-in-law, Nancy (late son Charles) of Tewksbury, Massachusetts; by her grandsons: Michael (Rob) and Marc (JoAnn); by her sister, Elizabeth Arsenault (Roger) of Moncton; by her brother, Leandre Poirier (Rachelle) of Moncton and by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from Passage, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB, (506) 532-1050, on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023 from 9 am to 10:30 am, followed by the funeral mass at La Visitation RC Church, Grande-Digue, NB at 11 am.
In her memory, a donation can be made to Pépére Boite à Lunch.
