Obituary of Margaret Lydia Cave
Margaret Lydia Cave
(nee Gaudry)
With the love and support of her family, Margaret passed away peacefully at home on July 24th, 2023
Much loved wife of Brian for 55 years. Loving mother of Julie Ann & Riel Milburn and Jeff Cave. Adoring Nana to Amanda-Lee, Logan, Kiernan, Hayden, Olivia, Joshua and Melanie-Grace. Cherished Great Nana to Charlee.
Margaret was many things to many people, but her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished the time spent with them, and her presence will leave a void in their hearts. She was also a passionate gardener, tending to her gardens was a labour of love for her. Although she will be missed terribly, the family are so thankful for the love they shared with her, especially the last few months making beautiful memories.
Special thank you to the amazing team of caregivers, especially the Paramed nurses and PSW’s who made the time Margaret had with her family as pain free and comfortable as possible.
Visitation will be held at TRULLS ROAD FREE METHODIST CHURCH, 2301 Trulls Road, Courtice on Saturday August 12th from 1 – 2 pm, Memorial Service will follow at 2 pm. In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, please casual dress only. Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville. Memorial Donations may be made to Canadian Foundation for Women’s Health. cfwh.org/
