Obituary of Reta Marilyn Rollison
On April 21, 2023, Marilyn Rollison (Pender) passed away peacefully at the Strathmore hospital at the age of 79 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in 1944 in St John New Brunswick, she left at a young age and graced many along way through out her life. She settled in lower mainland British Columbia for and time and eventually finally in the Calgary and Strathmore area. Here is where she met the love of her life Don Rollison and continued to support her family and friends. Her husband Don passed away in 2012 and it was a hard loss for her and the family to take. Those closest to her would take solace in knowing that she is no longer in pain and is reunited with Don and other family who passed away.
Marilyn had the most kind, generous and giving spirit. She had a soft spot for true stories and always had an open home for those who needed it most. Her generosity and kindness have been felt by many and adopted by more.
Marilyn is survived by her brother Norm, daughter Rhonda and sons Doug and Peter. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be missed dearly by all.
