STOBBART, Jean – It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Jean Stobbart at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on January 10, 2023.
Loving wife of George and devoted mother of Cathy (Phil) and predeceased by their son Greg (Eleanor) and daughter, Jan. Cherished grandmother of Matthew (Noah), Stacey (Arthur) and Christina (Justin) and great-grandchildren Carter, Owen, Andrew and Banks.
Jean will be missed and loved by her sister Joan (Dave) and brother-in-law Jim (Marilyn). She will be missed by her nieces and nephews and her many friends.
The family would like to thank the paramedics, nurses and Dr. Troy Tembbenham who attended Jean’s care.
At Jean’s request, there will be no funeral. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Donations made to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
