Carol Ann Weir (nee Scudder) – of Collingwood passed away peacefully at Meaford Long Term Care Centre, Meaford on Monday July 17, 2023 in her 82nd year. Loving wife of the late Jim Weir. Dear mother of Dawn Bowins, David (Lynda), Michael (Marie), Mark (Valerie). Cherished grandmother of Michelle Burlock (Joe), Mathew Bowins (Lindsay), Luke Weir (Reilly), Rebecca Weir, Joesph Weir, Haley Weir and Cassidy Weir. Cherished GG to Ty and Taiden Burlock, Sydney and Jackson Bowins and Hunter and Olivia Weir. Loving sister of Gloria (Wes) Bullock and Wanda Lewin (Pat). Carol will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Graham (nee Currie) Scudder and brother Rick Scudder.
Carol worked for many years in the Collingwood Post Office. She was an avid reader, loved to garden and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.
Friends are invited to join Carol’s family at the Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontario Street, Collingwood on Friday July 21, 2023 from 1 o’clock until the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2 o’clock. Reception to follow. If desired, a donation in her memory may be made to Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House would be appreciated by her family.
