Mildred (Hunt) Tait passed away peacefully at Belvedere Heights on Friday, July 14th, 2023. Age 93 years.
Mildred is joining her loving husband Bob, who passed away in 2003. Dear sister of George, of Georgetown. Pre-deceased by her parents Mike and Annie Hunt, her sister Gloria Peel, and her brothers Roy and Lloyd Hunt. Mildred will be sorely missed by her children: Brian and his wife Susan of Parry Sound; Beth and her husband Norm, of Lindsay; and Rob and his partner Anthony, of Hurdville. Devoted and much-loved Grandma of 5, and ‘GG’ of 7, with another on the way.
Mildred was very active in the community for many years, volunteering and supporting many organizations including Belvedere Heights, where she worked, then volunteered after retirement, and then went to live out her final years.
Mildred’s family is forever grateful to the staff at Belvedere Heights for their exemplary care of their mother.
As was Mildred’s wish, cremation has taken place with a private family burial at a later date.
