SWINSON, Julieanne
Julieanne Swinson passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on July 8th, 2023 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd in 2019. She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Swinson (Wayne); son, Lance Lovelock (Kathleen), and sister, Helen Gurnsey. She will be deeply missed by them all, as well as her loving niece, Judy Posteraro, cousins, Linda, Susan, and Neil, and her many dear friends.
Julie was born in Brooklin, Ontario and raised on a farm that she loved and remembered fondly her entire life. She had a great zest for life and learning, loved to laugh, and was game to do pretty much anything. She found joy in the simple things life offered: her gardens, her painting, her crafts, a deal at the thrift shop, listening to country music, a drive and picnic in the country, chatting with family and friends, snooping through old houses with her sister, fixing and mending almost anything, and her cat, Cindy. Julie was busy and full of life right up until shortly before her death. Her bright spark and modest wisdom will be forever missed by those she leaves behind. There will be a private celebration of her life.
