The family of Pauline
Balcom (Phillips) of Fredericton NB are sad to announce her passing at
the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on July 9th, 2023. Pauline was born
to her parents, the late Ralph and Una (Phillips) Boyle in Fredericton
NB on January 24, 1933. She was married to her first husband Leonard
Graham and after his passing she later married Ron Balcom who had also
predeceased her.
Pauline is survived
by one son, George (Dianne) Graham; twenty-one grandchildren and
great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne (Kathy) Phillips, Brian
Phillips (Michelle); a sister, Doris Rowe (George), three stepchildren
and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and two
husbands, she was predeceased by a son, Ralph Graham; four brothers,
Ralph, Tom, Foster and Ashley and a stepdaughter
Lynn.
Pauline was a lady of
strong faith and was a longtime supporter of her church, the Lincoln
Baptist Church. Family was very important to Pauline, and she enjoyed
visiting with them whenever possible. Her friends would describe her
as Kind, Loving and very
Giving.
A funeral service
will be held on Saturday July 15, 2023 at 11am in the Lincoln Baptist
Church, 2275 Route 102, Lincoln NB with reverend Richard Adesola
officiating. A private family interment in the Lower Lincoln Cemetery
will take place following the
service.
For those wishing to
make a memorial donation in Pauline’s memory, the family
have suggested the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the
donor’s choice.
