In Loving Memory of Mary E. Doyle
1922 – 2023
Mary Edith Doyle, wife of the late Raymond Doyle of Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on July 6, 2023 at the age of 101.
Born in Chatham, NB, on March 7, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Boyd and Mary Ellen (Dunn) Eaton. She was a member of St. Michael’s Basilica.
Mary worked many places as a secretary for many of years but Burchill mills was by far her favorite place of employment working for Mr. Burchill.
Mary loved to watch the news, listen to Sunday mass, and enjoyed occasional car drives around her favorite area in Nelson all while enjoying an ice cream or hot chocolate.

Mary is survived by her niece, Maureen Gallagher; nephew, Gregory Stevens; as well as many good friends. She was predeceased by her parents and sister, Dorothy Stevens.
At Mary’s request there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael’s Basilica, 10 Howard St., Miramichi on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 11 am with The Reverend Father Antonio Reyes as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the NB Heart & Stroke or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
