At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Friday July 7, 2023, Yvonne (Haelewyn) Claes, age 88, of Chatham, beloved wife of Joseph Claes.
Born in Dover Township in 1935, daughter of the late Martha (Deleay) and Oscar Haelewyn.
Dear mother of Ken (Sherrie) Claes and cherished grandmother of Rebecca (Brian) Bermudes and Keaton Strain and great grandmother of Sophia Bermudes. Also sadly missed by a sister-in-law Lia Hebert.
Predeceased by her son David Claes, a sister Mary Flou (1988) and a brother Jules Haelewyn (1999).
Friends and relatives may visit at the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Sunday July 9, 2023 from 6-8 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Monday July 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to Chatham-Kent Hospice would be appreciated.
