Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Monday, June 26, 2023, at the age of 61 years. Loving partner of Michelle Carleton. Beloved son of the late Frank and Mary Black. Dear brother of Frances (Tony) Paret, the late Theresa (the late Gil) Paret and the late (Joe Dries), the late George (Brenda) Black, the late David Black, and the late Mary Lee (Gord). Peter will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family would like to thank Monica Duggan, Ronald Brown, and Peter’s York South Community Living Team. A special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and care teams at the Southlake Regional Health Centre Cancer Unit. Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be in St. Patrick’s Church, 91 Church St., Schomberg, Ontario, on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 11 am, followed by interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Schomberg. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Southlake Regional Health Centre Cancer Centre or to Epilepsy Canada would be appreciated by the family.
