Words can not explain the heartache we feel that we must announce the passing of Phyllis on July 5, 2023, at 85 years of age. Mom is now reunited with her beloved husband Walter (2023) and her daughter Elaine (2019). Loving mother of David Gerard (Dawn), Tom Gerard, and the late Elaine Eskritt (Jonathan). Treasured grandma of Shane Eskritt, Heather Eskritt, Jillian Gerard and Kaitlin Gerard. Sister of the late Marvin, Chuck and the late Mike. Sister-in-law of the late Marion McGarvey (late Jim).
Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Phyllis was a long-time member of the Holy Name of Jesus Parish and active member of the CWL since 1972. She also attended many Take-A-Break sessions over the years.
Phyllis is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North, Es on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. CWL and Parish Prayers Sunday at 3 p.m. The funeral service will take place from the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
