With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dorothy Alice Long on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Four Counties Hospital in Newbury. Born in Mosa Township 80 years ago. Daughter of the late Clinton and Lila Armstrong. Wife of the late Walter Long. Mother of James Long (Rhonda), Ruth Wall (the late Steve), and the late Lisa Long. Grandma of Sarah, Rachel, and Zachary Long. Nana of Aaron, Adam and Andrew Mitchell. Dorothy is predeceased by her siblings Joe Armstrong and Shirley Armstrong. Survived by son in law Dan. Also survived and missed by Bob Sutton, her friend and partner for the last 15 years. Dorothy will be remembered for her strong faith in the Lord.
All are welcome to attend a visitation on Wednesday July 4, 2023 at Evangel Community Church from 10:00-11:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. The funeral will be followed with a time of fellowship. Buried will follow at McLean Cemetery in Wardsville. Those wishing to make a memorial donation are asked to consider the Salvation Army in London, Ontario.
