Peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on Monday June 26, 2023 Mr. William “Bill” Gerrits of Clinton in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Amy, Loving father of Herman & Michelle Gerrits, Kevin & Angela Gerrits and Cherry & Paul Hoste. Cherished grandfather of Chad & Lauren, Ashton, Paisley, Kaissen, Alexis, and Ty. Great grandfather of Nova. Dear brother and brother in law of Jean & John Veenstra, Marion Geiling, Don & Hilda Gerrits, Henry & Leida Gerrits, Jack & Gertie Gerrits, Dianne Vander Wal, Gerrie & Bob Neutel, Marg Gerrits, Gordon & Ann Gerrits, and Mike Gerrits. Predeceased by siblings and in laws Grace & John Greidanus, John Gerrits, Herman & Cathy Gerrits, and Lynne Moffatt. Also fondly remembered by the extended Drost families and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Clinton Christian Reformed Church, 243 Princess St. E., Clinton on Thursday June 29, 2023 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment Clinton Cemetery.
