From field work to a thinking chair, we sadly say goodbye to a very strong man, who was a rock to his wife of 48 years, Betty and glue to his kids Leigh-Ann Cooper (Tim), Darryl Bailey (Franek) and Kevin Bailey.
Grandfather to Codi, Dennis, Ariel-Marie, Shar-Lynn, Paige and great grandfather to Kiara, Eric, the late Anastasia, Jayce and Valor.
George passed away at home on Sunday, June 4 with his family around him peacefully.
Arrangements entrusted to the Rushnell Funeral Homes – Marmora (9 Bursthall St. Marmora 613-472-2531)
Family will receive friends and family at the Rushnell Funeral Home in Marmora on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm.
Funeral Service will be held at the Springbrook United Church on Saturday, June 10, 2023.
There will be a brief visiting period starting at 12 noon with service to follow at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lung Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Arthritis Association.
