It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Michael Fortin on June 4, 2023 at the Timmins and District Hospital, 2 weeks after the death of his father, Gilles Fortin.
He leaves behind his loving son Jacob Fortin, cherished granddaughter Addilyn Fortin, his dear mother Jackie Fortin, his sister Ann Turgeon (Mike) and his niece Danielle Turgeon. Also left to mourn are many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Respecting his wishes, cremation will take place. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. The family will have a celebration of life Friday June 9th, 2023, from 11:30 am-1:30 pm at the Mountjoy United Church for family and close friends. Remembrance donations to Project Love or the Timmins and District Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
