Obituary For Stefane Jean-Luc Demeule
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stefane on May 26, 2023, in Grande Prairie, at 46 years of age.
Stefane was born in McLennan in 1976 and moved to Grande Prairie in 1982 and graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1995. In April of 2009, he and Loretta welcomed their son, David.
Stefane worked at many different trucking companies over the years and finished with Bexson Transport. He loved hockey, (the Pitttsburgh Penguins) ice cream and burgers, and loved spending time with David, watching movies and eating popcorn.
He is survived by his son David (Loretta), brother Dan (Heather), uncles Henri (Merlyn), Robert (Irene), Gilbert (Theresa), Emile, aunts Dorine (Francois), Louise, Denis (Despo), Jacques (Rose), as well as many cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents Dorine and Roger Demeule and aunt Denise Bourgeois.
A Celebration of Life for Stefane will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 11am at Bear Creek Funeral Home (11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie). Please join us for lunch following, with some of Stefane’s favourites.
