Obituary
Simeon (Buddy) Charles Parker was born on January 27, 1964 in Cumberland House. He was the fourth child of Shirley Parker. Buddy was six years old when they moved to Prince Albert and later on to Nipawin.
Buddy worked many places. He started working after school at the Family Bakery when he was 13 or 14 years old and worked there for 12 years. Buddy worked for Kevin’s Custom Ag for a couple of years before he started working full time at Gates Fertilizers in 1993. His last job was Service Technician at DyTerra in Saskatoon. The highlight of his career was when he and co-worker Dale Bass plumbed some liquid fertilizer tanks for Brock Lesnar.
Buddy loved watching wrestling and hockey, Montreal Canadiens being his favourite team. Carol and Buddy spent a lot of time going to hockey games – Nipawin Hawks, Prince Albert Raiders, Tri-Town Thunder (Carrot River) and of course minor hockey games.
Buddy and Carol got together in 1992/93 and were married on
August 8, 2020. They took numerous trips with family and friends. Deadwood, Jamaica, Sunfest on Vancouver Island, White Water Rafting, Climbing the Glacier, Glimpse of Europe bus tour and England and camping trips to La Rouge. The last few years were spent camping at Bouey Farms and Buddy helping Lyle with harvest by driving the tractor pulling the grain cart.
