Nous regrettons d’annoncer le décès d’Elaine Daigle, à l’âge de 73 ans, le samedi 27 mai 2023, à l’hôpital Horizon Santé Nord. Comme passe-temps, elle aimait beaucoup faire de la lecture, résoudre des casse-têtes, le camping, et le jardinage de fleurs. Elaine était passionnée d’aider les enfants, passant plus de 20 ans comme parent de famille d’accueil.
Elaine laisse dans le deuil son époux depuis 51 ans de mariage, Rhéal; ses enfants : Mélodie Daigle de la Colombie-Britannique, et Emmanuel (Tamara) de Kapuskasing; ses petits-enfants : Keirran, Shyanna, Thomas et Josephine; ainsi qu’une soeur, Georgette Albert; et un frère, Waleston Labonté.
Elaine fut prédécédée par trois sœurs : Gilberte Marchand, Louisette Bisier et Paulette Cloutier; ainsi que quatre frères : Georges, Gérard, Albert, et Paul Labonté.
L’inhumation des cendres aura lieu au Cimetière de Fauquier. La famille sera très reconnaissante de dons à Diabète Canada ou la Société canadienne du cancer comme témoignages de sympathie. ©
We regret to announce the death of Elaine Daigle, at the age of 73 years, on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Health Sciences North. In her spare time, she greatly enjoyed reading, solving jigsaw puzzles, camping, and flower gardening. Elaine was passionate in helping children and was a foster parent for more than 20 years.
Elaine leaves in mourning her husband of 51 years, Rhéal; her children: Mélodie Daigle of British-Columbia, and Emmanuel (Tamara) of Kapuskasing; her grand-children: Keirran, Shyanna, Thomas and Josephine; as well as one sister, Georgette Albert; and one brother, Waleston Labonté.
Elaine was predeceased by three sisters: Gilberte Marchand, Louisette Bisier and Paulette Cloutier; as well as four brothers: Georges, Gérard, Albert, et Paul Labonté.
Burial of the ashes will take place at the Fauquier Cemetery. The family would greatly appreciate donations to Diabetes Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy. ©
