Corbett, Douglas Gordon
August 7, 1947 – March 8, 2023
Doug passed away peacefully, with his loving family by his side, at North Bay Regional Hospital after a brief illness. Doug was the loving husband of Joyce (Davidson) for 53 years. Father to Stephanie Barnes (Gary) of Gravenhurst, and Brandon (Nichole) of Corbeil. Awesome Pa to Jake (Linda), Garrett, and Tyler Barnes; and Taylor and Alyssa Corbett. Great awesome Pa to Jayda, Shealee, Carter, Ethan, and Maverick Barnes; Sarah, Brody, Aubree, Matti, Kolton Corbett. Special Pa to Lily and Owen Jarrick, and Abby and Andie Hamlin. Special bro to Peter, Joanne, Linda and Sharon. Loving brother-in-law to Bill Davidson and Sue Davidson of Gravenhurst and will be especially missed by his niece Michelle Irvine, Amanda Burrows; sister Joan McCaw of Gravenhurst, and Gail Buffett of Kitchener. He was Uncle Doug to many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and celebration of life will be held on June 17th 2023 from 1pm-4pm at the Legion in Gravenhurst. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
