Following complications from a brief illness, Lauren Stacey
LeBlanc, 75, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Friday May 26, 2023
at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, she was the
daughter of the late Lionel Gordon Fillmore born in Moncton and Iris
Sydney Donguines born in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Lauren was a kind and generous person who loved life, her
nieces and nephews, all animals and flowers. She enjoyed travelling
and discovering new places. As a long time, paralegal
secretary with the firm of Ellsworth Johnson Michaud, she was
dedicated to her work. Lauren will be sadly missed by all who knew
her.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ronald C.
LeBlanc; five sisters and one brother: Leslie Matheson (Alan) of St.
George, NB, Lana Gould (Brian) of St. Andrews, NB, Beverley of Ottawa,
ON, Shelley, Kimberly and Kenneth (Gisèle), all of Moncton;
as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Terry
Parsley of Alberta.
As per her wishes, there will be no visitation and no public
funeral service. In memory of Lauren, a contribution to the CHU Dumont
Foundation or the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation would be
appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of
Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton
(858-1900).
