Peacefully at Brockville General Hospital, Michael Peer entered into rest with family by his side. Michael John Peer at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of the late Brenda (MacDonald) Peer and treasured father of Dawn Burbridge (Michael Daniels). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Sierra Burbridge (Nicholas Ralph), Mimi and Rita Daniels and great grandfather to Declan Ralph. Survived by sisters-in law Dawna Melbourne, Heather MacDonald, Christine Jenkins, Bonnie Murray, Dixie MacDonald, Libby MacDonald and by his brothers-in-law Miles MacDonald, Stan MacDonald and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Bridie and John Peer, his brother Brian and by brothers-in-law Bob Murray and Calvin MacDonald.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Thursday, June 1st, 2023 from 9 am until 10 am. Officers and members of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 96 will hold a memorial service at 9:45am followed by a Funeral Liturgy in a the chapel at 10 am. Interment will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with a reception following at the Royal Canadian Legion, 180 Park St, Brockville.
