Donald “Bill” Cragg, a lifelong Chatham resident, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023 at Chatham Kent Health Alliance.
Born in Chatham 88 years ago. Son of the late Marjory and Donald Cragg. Father of Peter Cragg, Lill Cragg, Shelley Laflin (Steve) and the late Lynn Paraskevopoulos. Step father of Marty Glover and the late Joe Glover. Grandfather of the late Jason, Josh and Sarah Cragg, Ian and Eric McKee, Ashley, Greg, Brad Paraskevopoulos. Great grandfather of Forest McKee. First cousin, but like a brother of Donna Jean (Peachy) Devolder. Also survived by son in law Jim Paraskevopoulos daughters in law Shelly Glover and Roberta Cragg. Companion of the late Jayne Soutar.
Bill worked at Navistar in Chatham for over 30 years. After retirement he enjoyed watching movies, listening to music, attending many yard sales and spending time with his best friend and dog Magnum.
All are welcome to attend a graveside service Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11am at Maple Leaf Cemetery. The plot is near the back creek. Third left off Park Ave and then an immediate left and then right to the back.
In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be directed to the Chatham Kent Hospice or the Pet and Wildlife Rescue.
