Guy Philip Grison passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023 after a long, brave fight with cancer. Born in Chatham 56 years ago. Son of the late Philip and Gilberte Grison (nee Charlebois). Husband of Wanda for over 31 years. Guy spent 20 years as a voice actor in Toronto with the Discovery Channel as well as voicing radio and TV commercials. In 2015 he and his wife Wanda returned to his hometown of Chatham, where he began working as a contractor. Guy loved music and was an awesome drummer, saxophone player, guitarist, pianist, and singer. Guy’s sense of humour was contagious and he got joy from making others laugh out loud. Guy was truly a one of a kind, awesome person and will be deeply missed by those who knew him and loved him. Denise, Greg and Gisele,
Thinking of you all today as you celebrate Guy’s life. So much to celebrate as Guy fit in more than his years of joy, love, and laughter with family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have encountered him. I was so sorry to hear of his passing and all that he faced and took on – with incredible courage and grace. I can only imagine your heartbreak of losing your little brother – and also think about the sibling/family love and support you surrounded him with and that will help carry you through. I can so clearly hear Guy’s laughter and am thinking of his (and all of your) Grison gusto for life. Denise – so many memories back to our young teens with your cute, funny, full-of-life little brother who you so clearly adored – and him you! Sending my love, hugs and our Shwery family condolences to you and family. Rest in peace Guy Grison. Thanks for making this world a better place. oxo Michelle
