It is with great sadness that the family of the late Catherine Poker announce her passing at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley – Goose Bay, NL, on Saturday, May 20th, 2023, at the age of 73 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughter: Danina (Sebastien); sons: Thomas (Mary Jane), James (Sabina), John B Tshakapesh (Mary Ann), Angela Pasteen, Germaine Tshakapesh, Danina Tshakapesh, Josie Tshakapesh, Simeon Tshakapesh; sister: Edith Tshakapesh; as well as a large circle of friends, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.
Catherine was predeceased by her father: John Poker; mother: Martha Poker; son: Prote Poker; sister: Nenuskueu Charlotte; grandson: James Poker; and aunt: Madeline Rich.
Visitation services will take place on Monday, May 22nd, 2023, at Fillatre’s funeral home, Happy Valley – Goose Bay, NL, from the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, May 24th, 2023, at Tshukuminu St. Ann church, starting at 11:00 a.m.
