Joan Dean, 75, of Salisbury passed away
unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, May 17,
2023.
Born in Harewood she was a daughter of the late
Clarence and Geraldine Wilson.
Joan worked as a waitress and a clerk and at
Wrights Convience Store and attended Full Gospel Assembly in Killams
Mills.
Survived by a daughter Doreen of Truro;
grandchildren Alex, Jessica, Delaney and Cole; three great
grandchildren; sisters Bernice Murphy (Jerry) and Eileen Carr (late
Wilmer) and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son
Ricky; brothers Walter, Jack, Lester (Whiz) Wilson and the father of
her children James Dean.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Rte
106 with visitation Saturday May 20 from 6-8 p.m. and from where the
funeral will be Sunday May 21 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel with her
nephew Pastor Kevin Carr officiating. Interment at the Monteagle
Cemetery.
If desired, memorials to the Heart and Stroke
Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the
family.
