It is with great sadness the family of Penny Jo
Chase-Khoshbakhtian announce her passing at the Charlotte County
Hospital, St. Stephen, N.B. with her husband Afshin by her side on
Wednesday, May 10, 2023.
Born in 1965 in Pennsylvania, USA, Penny Jo was a daughter of
the late Willard and D. Yvonne (Lloyd) Chase. Although she was born in
the US, Penny Jo grew up in Chipman, N.B., and has lived in St.
Andrews, N.B. with her husband and children for the last 23
years.
After graduating from high school, she attended St. Thomas
University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major
in Psychology.
Penny Jo worked as a manager of Student Development at NBCC
in St. Andrews since May of 2000. Also spent the past year helping to
operate Harbour Front Restaurant with her husband and sons, which she
was a shareholder of.
Much of her time was spent time taking care of her family,
raising two very grateful young men.
Penny Jo is survived by her husband of 25 years, Afshin
Khoshbakhtian, two sons, Alex and Daniel Khoshbakhtian, siblings,
Larry (Sherri) Chase and Susan (Barry) Armstrong.
A graveside service will take place at the St. Andrews Rural
Cemetery, St. Andrews, N.B. on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 2
PM.
