Obituary of Carrie Lyn Ranelli
Born on September 15, 1973 in Toronto and passed away suddenly on May 9, 2023 in Hamilton. Carrie was the much beloved daughter of Gloria (nee Hrynchak) and Tony Russell, Claudio and Kelly Ranelli. Loving sister to Debbie Ranelli (Steve), Andrew Ranelli (Willow), David, Cole and Guilia Ranelli. Stepsister to Rachelle and Lee Russell, Kyle (Karmen) Derbyshire. Predeceased by her grandparents Mary Hrynchak (Mike) of Toronto, and Guilia Ranelli (Arduino) of Scarborough. She was a beloved niece, cousin, and aunt to many. She will be sorely missed by her many friends and acquaintances. Carrie will live in our hearts and memories forever. Carrie had the most beautiful smile and you just knew she was genuinely happy to see you. She was kind, caring, generous, and had a great sense of humour. She loved her pet dog Rufus with a passion. The world is a much sadder and emptier place without her. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
