Passed away peacefully on Friday, April 7, at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, in her 93rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Glen Thertell. Only daughter of the late Gordon and Elsie Severn. Violet will be dearly missed by her Severn nephews Gary(Donna), Doug(Cathy), Keith(Sandra), Terry(Mary), Dana(Nancy) and Glen(Marisa).
Predeceased by her siblings, Dennis, Gordon, Derek(Betty), and Denis. Dearly missed by her sister-in-law and caregiver, Shirley Severn. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Friday, April 14 at Morris Funeral Chapel(4 Division St., Bowmanville) from 12PM until time of service at 1PM. interment to follow at Orono Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the charity of your choice are greatly appreciated.
