It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of the late Dave Cortez Repaje on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 43rd year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife: Deena Eddison; their precious children: Cortez and Lennox Repaje; mother: Leticia Cortez; mother-in-law: Brenda Whyatt; father-in-law: Wade Eddison (Marie); sister-in-law: Ashley Eddison; grandparents: Shirley and Willis Whyatt, and Marion Eddison; aunts: Sabrina Whyatt, Bonnie Compton (Jess), Barb Richards (Hubert), Lucinda Cull (Elijah), Edith Patey (Dexter), Janice Noble (Alex), and Janet Eddison; uncle Lester Eddison (Violet); and a large circle of other relatives, and many friends.
Dave is predeceased by his grandmother: Eugenia Cortez; grandfather: Pleman Eddison; and his uncle: Art Eddison.
There will be a visitation held on Thursday, May 11th, 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 7-9 PM. At Dave’s request, cremation to follow. Funeral service to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Dave’s memory to the Kidney Foundation (kidney.ca/).
