It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our sister, aunt, cousin, and friend Mary Christine Bain of Langley, BC on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the age of 64.
Loved daughter of the late Wally (1985) and Madeline (2019) Bain, she is survived by brother John, nephews Jack and Mac (Amanda), great nieces Kierra and London, and great nephew Lincoln. She will be sadly missed by fiancé Richard Slawson.
Following Chris’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are welcome to gather for a celebration of life at W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford, ON in the reception room on Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Memories of Chris will be shared at 3:00 p.m. and a reception will follow. Interment at Avondale Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or the charity of your choice through the funeral home.
