Suddenly on Monday May 1, 2023 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 25. Born in Chatham on August 11, 1997.
Loving son of Shannon Barylewicz (Jamison), Dearest brother of Lee Dawson and Mike Kolstein. Cherished grandson of John Barylewicz and the late Brenda St. John (2018). Mitchell will also be sadly remembered by his Uncle Johnny and cousins Spencer and Hailey.
Mitch had a great talent at chess reaching provincials in high school several times.
He enjoyed fishing when he wasn’t “busy”.
Mitch spent a lot of time with his grandpa from just driving around to watching the horse races.
Mitchell enjoyed teasing his mom on occasion when taking her out in his boat, even so far as to say “I’m busy” as she worried about the water filling it. He had a passion for writing and could always be caught scribbling something on any ol’ piece of paper. You could always count on Mitchell, no matter how he looked or felt, he’d always give you a resounding ” No, I’m good!”
Mitchy, you will forever be in our hearts and deeply missed.
The family will be having a private gathering at a later date.
