Obituary
Susan Ulrich, 76 of Moncton passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Eileen (Anderson) McClure.
Susan graduated from UNB Teachers College in 1967. She truly enjoyed the few short years she spent teaching. After 30 years with Superannuation, Susan retired in 2004. Susan was a crossword puzzle guru and for years could have easily been a Jeopardy Champion. Although not technologically savvy, she jumped on board to learn how to use her iPad to ensure she could play online games and always stay connected to friends and family. Most recently she enjoyed residing at Peoples Park Tower and the Bingo nights with all of her new friends. Susan truly cherished her annual family vacation, spending time at the cottage on the Richibucto River, which always included a fresh Atlantic Ocean lobster feast! Although no grandchildren in Susan’s life, she certainly loved being a “dog granny” to all the grand-dogs that brought love and play into her life over the years.
Susan is survived buy her sister Judith (Charles) and brother Ian (Marie Lou). Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Richard M. Ulrich daughter, Karan Wood and brother Joseph McClure.
The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses on the palliative ward at the Moncton Hospital, whose compassion and kindness was so much appreciated and always remembered.
Following Susan’s wishes there will be no funeral service, celebration of life or interment.
