Bathurst – Mrs. Blanche Vienneau, of Blanchard St., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday April 29, 2023, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 70.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Lucinda (Chamberlain) Vienneau.
She is survived by two children: Christine Jones (Barclay Knowles) of Janeville and Michel Guignard (Janyaphon) of Thailand.
Two grandchildren: Keithen and Jesse-Lee.
Two sisters: Jeannette Duguay (Marcel) of Bathurst and Thérèse Hogg (Don) of London, ON.
Several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and her spouse, Paul Guignard, she was pre-deceased by one brother, John.
The family would like to thank the nurses of the Extra Mural Program and the Palliative Care Unit for the excellent care given to Blanche.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 2 p.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral.
Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Blanche may be made to the Lung Association, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
