James Lawrence McCormick also known as Jamie, Jim, or Elvis

With his best furry friend Daisy Mae at his side and his beloved daughter Shannon holding his hand, James slipped away peacefully to be with his parents and sisters. He will be forever missed by his daughter Shannon Jacques, her husband Mike and grandson Tristan McCormick (Lana Issac), son Joel McCormick (Kitty) and grandchildren Christian, Jesse, and Veronica. Survived by brothers Jerry (Debbie) and Mike McCormick, brother-in-law Gerry O’Neil and Dave Round, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Gerald and Veronica McCormick and sisters Cindy O’Neil and Patty Round. He will be missed by his best friend of many years, Rick Connors, and Marie Showers (Shannon and Joel’s mother). Jim, as he was known at work, was in sales at Huron Alloys for more than 25yrs until his retirement. He had a love for his Harley’s and enjoyed travelling solo on his bike, to both the East and West coast. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Sarnia & District Humane Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
