Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the age of 88. Cherished mother of Mario (Donna), John (Lucille) and Jose. Predeceased by her beloved husband Joao and son Carlos (Jennifer). Proud Grandma to Michael (Jill), Matthew (Tina), Christopher (Jessica), Jonathan (Alyssa), Lauren (Matthew) and Jasmine. Avo loved to spend summers at the farm with her great grandchildren Evan, Emily, Carter, Jacob, Oliver, Logan, Noah, Owen and Ella. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Stirling Heights for their excellent care and compassion. Visitation will be held at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, N., Cambridge N1R 5N6 on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 6pm to 9 pm. Prayers in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge, Ontario.
